Just ahead of the biggest week of the year for us gamers, Activision has gone ahead and updated their Guitar Hero website with a complete listing of all 84 bands and artists that will be featured in Guitar Hero 5. The entire list can be read after the break, and the entire list will be available to you from the moment you insert the game disc on September 1st.

As an extra heads up, heading on over to the Guitar Hero 5 site, clicking the Guitar Hero 5 logo, and scrolling down will take you to a free MP3 download of Wolfmother’s “Black Round.” You can never go wrong with free stuff, right?
