It looks like Tatsunoko vs. Capcom in North America won’t be identical to its Japanese counterpart. It seems that some characters will likely have to be cut because of licensing issues. However, Capcom intends to keep the game balanced, which means that characters who don’t make it will have to be replaced with new ones. Where these characters will come from is unknown. Maybe they’ll add some Tatsunoko characters that are more well-known to Western audiences, such as Speed Racer.
Capcom is still aiming for a winter release.
