2nd Mega Man 2.5D trailer appears, still isn’t real

You may remember a while back when animator Peter Sjöstrand released what appeared to be a trailer for a Mega Man fan game in 2.5D, but was most likely just an animation. Well, he’s released another trailer, and while it’s still not quite convincing enough to be a real game, it’s pretty cool. This particular trailer introduces the concept of 2-player co-op gameplay with Mega Man and Proto Man. The brothers activate switches in tandem and stand on each other’s heads to reach otherwise-unreachable places. It looks like it would take an ungodly amount of coordination. Don’t worry too much about it, since it’s never, ever going to actually happen. Don’t you feel better now? No? I didn’t think so.

  • Yeah, that'd be a pretty awesome thing if it were a real game. But you can really see a few hints that tell me it's just animated, though the meticulousness in making it look like a played game is inCREDIBLE.
