Sega has announced it will be bringing their arcade game Jambo! Safari to the Wii. In Jambo! Safari, you control a park ranger to “ensure the animals in their park are healthy and happy.” This, of course, mostly means you’ll be lassoing them from a Land Rover. After capturing them, you’ll be able to diagnose their treatments and wounds (probably caused by being chased down by a jeep) and treat them before releasing them back into the wild, where they’re promptly eaten by lions, I’m sure. A DS version, Jambo! Safari Animal Rescue, is also in the works. Look for both in late 2009.
