Luc Bernard (remember him?) has announced that his iPhone strategy game Mecho Wars will be coming to both DSiWare and WiiWare. Bernard describs the game as Advance Wars with some RPG elements. (Wouldn’t that be Fire Emblem?) The above gameplay trailer (of the iPhone version) certainly shows a lot of similarities between Mecho Wars and Advance Wars. It’s still fairly early in development, though, so forgive the lack of sound effects.
