A NeoGAF poster has revealed a picture of what looks very much like a Nintendo Power article confirming Tatsunoko vs. Capcom for North America. The upper right corner says “They said it couldn’t happen, but it is! Fighting extravaganza Tatsunoko vs. Capcom is coming to North America.”
The picture looks very real. The article is even printed on glossy magazine paper. For pretty much any other game, this would be very convincing. The thing is, Tatsunoko vs. Capcom has so many licensing issues to deal with, it was always assumed that it was almost guaranteed to never leave Japan. Then again, Capcom has been strangely optimistic about it. Expect an update as soon as this is confirmed or disproved.
UPDATE: Capcom has confirmed the validity of the scan via their Capcom Unity Twitter account. Tatsunoko vs. Capcom is officially one of Capcom’s two “secret games” to be shown at E3.
