Friday Night Concerts: Real Life Rhythm Heaven

At a concert which may or may not have been celebrating the release of Rhythm Tengoku Gold (known here as Rhythm Heaven) in Japan, a pop singer who may or may not be called “Nice Girl” and may or may not be the original singer of the song in the Idol level (or Fan Club level, to you) asked audience members to play along. (Hey, I can’t read Japanese, alright?) In Rhythm Heaven, there’s a level where the player controls a monkey who must clap and jump after certain phrases of a pop song to show their support for the singer. In this live recreation, the audience takes the role of the monkey fan club. If you listen closely, you can even hear some members doing things from the second Fan Club level, Fan Club 2. It certainly looks… fun.
