Bit.Trip Core announced

The follow up to the WiiWare hit Bit.Trip Beat has been announced, and now the teaser image makes a lot more sense. The gameplay of Bit.Trip Core is pretty different from Bit.Trip Beat. You control a red cross in the center of the screen that fires a beam used to intercept dots as they fly past. The dots won’t always behave themselves, though, and their flight patterns will become more erratic in areas with higher difficulty. Bit.Trip Core actually looks much harder than Bit.Trip Beat. Oh, and motion control has been dropped for this new installment, so ready your thumbs.
