It seems more and more likely that Majora’s Mask is being saved for the 300th Virtual Console game. That’s not to say there’s nothing interesting available today, though. The DSi gets Dr. Mario Express, and we all know that puzzle games are better on the go. WiiWare gets Crystal Defenders R1, which seems pretty cheap for a Square-Enix game, until you realize that it’s part 1 of 2. As for the Virtual Console, it gets yet another Wonder Boy game with Wonder Boy III: Monster Lair. Well, “yet another” might be inaccurate, since the TurboGrafx-CD version has been available for quite some time. Wow.

Users with broadband Internet access can redeem Wii Points or Nintendo DSi Points to download the games. Wii Points can be purchased in the Wii Shop Channel. Nintendo DSi Points can be purchased in the Nintendo DSi Shop. A Nintendo Points Card™ can be purchased at retail locations. All points from one Nintendo Points Card must be redeemed in either the Nintendo DSi Shop or the Wii Shop Channel. They are not transferable and cannot be divided between the two systems.
