In addition to all the talk of video streaming by Nintendo as of late, it looks like there is a good chance that Netflix could expand their service to the Wii and PS3 as well. A new job listing has them looking for an “Engineering leader” with “deep experience developing and testing media rich applications on current generation gaming consoles.” Tasty!
It would be pretty spiffy to see a Netflix channel appear, and it could be sooner than one might think. Especially as the posting also reads: “Expect to help build a small technology team to rapidly prototype and iterate on a variety of platforms.” I like those two words. Rapidly, and variety.
