The Spectrobes series is making its Wii debut with Spectrobes: Origins. Origins will do away with the separate battle screen from the DS entries, with all of its battles taking place on the field. You will only be able to bring one Spectrobe into battle with you, but it can be switched out for another one of the five you keep in reserve. The excavation mechanic will be refined and optimized for 3D, as well.
No specific release date has been announced for Spectrobes: Origins, but a fall release is expected.
