Mega Man 2.5D makes you long for what could be

If you’ve ever wondered what Mega Man 2 would be if it were remade in 2.5D while keeping its original 8-bit style (and which of us hasn’t?), well, now you know. Above is a Mega Man 2.5D trailer by Sweedish animator Peter Sjöstrand. Of course, being an animator, it’s very unlikely that Mr. Sjöstrand has actually created a working game. It’s much more likely that the above trailer is simply an animation not based on any existing game engine. Still, don’t let that ruin the fantasy.
