Nintendo is holding a series of exclusive events for Platinum level Club Nintendo members that will grant them a sneak peek at the DSi, weeks before its North American release. Platinum members that live in the relative vicinity of these events should already have received their invitations via email. There’s no public list of events available, but events have been confirmed in New York, California, Ohio, Florida, and other states. Sadly, there don’t seem to be any events in Canada. There never are. Except curling tournaments, but who cares about those?
This is a pretty cool idea. Hopefully, it will be the first of many such special events for Nintendophiles.
