Nintendo’s upcoming Punch-Out!! for Wii will have two different control styles available. The first one is, of course, motion based. Players can throw punches by making punching motions with the Wii Remote and Nunchuck. The control stick can be used to control jabs and hooks. The second control option is referred to as “Classic Control” mode. The Wii Remote can be turned on its side and the game can be controlled similarly to the original Punch-Out!! with the 1 and 2 buttons and the D-pad. This is certain to be a relief to those of us who can barely clap our hands without getting tired. Stamina is overrated.
