Just weeks after the release of Bubble Bobble Plus for WiiWare in Japan, Taito’s Rainbow Islands: Towering Adventure, its distant sequel, will hit the service tomorrow in Japan. You may remember the series from Rainbow Island: The Story of Bubble Bobble 2 for the NES. Players control either Bubby or Bobby and must create rainbows to defeat enemies and climb vertically-scrolling levels. 

Tomorrow’s Japanese update will also see The Game of Life and Onslaught (renamed MADSECTA for Japan) on WiiWare, and Space Invaders the Original Game (TurboGrafx-16) and Dragon Slayer II (Genesis) on the Virtual Console.
