Rhythm Heaven is the DSi’s North American launch title

Rhythm Heaven, also knows as Rizumu Tengoku G?rudo in Japan, will be the DSi’s launch title come April 5th. It has sold over 1.6 million copies in Japan since its release in July of 2008 and continues to sell well today. No price point has been released just yet.

    I’m confused – how can this be considered a launch title? Unless I’m missing something, this would seem to be perfectly playable on a normal DS; if so, then I don’t see how this could find under any definition of a launch title, which should be somehow exclusive to its respective new system, and certainly not playable on the previous iteration of the hardware.
