Get your free Shaymin now at Toys “R” Us

If you’ve been waiting patiently for your chance to get your very own Shaymin in Pokémon Diamond/Pearl (instead of using a cheat device to get one in a less legitimate way), the wait is over. In preparation for the upcoming “Giratina and the Sky Warrior” Pokémon movie, Toys “R” Us is giving away free Shaymin (Shaymins?) to anyone with a DS and a copy of the game. Hurry, though. The event ends on February 14th. Yes, Toys “R” Us plans to break up with you on Valentine’s Day. Don’t tell it I told you.

    I wish that they would come up with other ways for people to get special pokemon. As a 22 year old female, it feels a bit silly going to toys R us to expand my pokemon collction :-[

    Japanese Platinum owners could download those special items through the Wi-Fi connection for a limited time. Maybe we’ll get that too?

    I know I shouldn’t care, and I should just have fun with what I love….there’s just some things that make me feel silly, and this is one of them :-P
