Two members of recent THQ cutback victim Helixe games studio have taken this opportunity to form their own development company. DoubleTap Games will focus on development for the Nintendo DS. Founders Richard Corredera and Kurt Bickenbach have worked for such companies as Sony Online Entertainment and Looking Glass Studios in the past, and now plan to bring “new game franchises” to the DS. They apparently aren’t ready to announce any specific projects yet, but they do have a logo. Isn’t it pretty? Expect more (or any) news on their upcoming projects as it becomes available.
