The recent release of Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Echoes of Time brought with it a trailer of the feared-lost Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: The Crystal Bearers. Crystal Bearers had been MIA for about 20 months, so long that certain news outlets were ready to declare it dead. Well, the new trailer shows that it’s not only alive, but kicking.
The trailer shows it to be more action-based than previous installments in the series, focusing on single-player play and… telekinesis? I think the main character may be a Jedi. Not a far stretch, considering how much Final Fantasy XII resembled Star Wars.
There’s still no release date set for The Crystal Bearers, but it apparently hasn’t dissolved into the ether yet. That’s a good sign.
