An OFLC rating has revealed that TwinBee, a NES shmup from Konami, will likely be making its way onto the Australian Virtual Console service. TwinBee is a strangely cute top-down shoot-em-up that borrows heavily from Xevious. The player controls a ship with what appears to be a pair of arms. There are bell power-ups that can be shot to change their color and effect before being collected. Just like Xevious.
Also rated for an Australian release is Bomberman ’94, or Mega Bomberman to those of us who sided with Sega during the 16 bit years. Why does North America get stuck with Bomberman ’93 when Australia gets Bomberman ’94? Well, obviously because Bomberman ’94 is full of kangaroos.
