Last year, Japanese Wii owners got the Digicam Print Channel that allows users to order prints of pictures from an SD card in their Wiis. Users can even use the service to order business cards featuring their Miis. You may remember hearing about this channel when it was announced to be launching in Europe and North America “very soon” six months ago. Well, Siliconera has found a European trademark for a “Wii Photo Print Channel,” filed on the 19th of January. Of course, this could just be another case of Nintendo covering all their bases, but let’s be a bit more optimistic than that, ok?
