Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Echoes of Time just came out in Japan mere days ago, and Square-Enix has announced that the North American version will hit on March 24th, just two months after the Japanese version. Fastest localization ever? I think so. (Don’t get your hopes up for Final Fantasy XIII. That will still take a decade.)
Interestingly enough, both the DS and Wii versions will be priced at $39.99, which is a bit expensive for a DS game (like all Square-Enix DS games, because apparently they get some kind of 33% tax) but cheap for a Wii game.
Extra nugget: The game will feature a New Game Plus mode with a new equipment and a heightened difficulty level.
