Metacritic has released a list of the top five highest rated games (and one lowest rated game) released in 2008 for each platform. Being a Metacritic list, games are ranked based on their average review scores from multiple review sources. Check past the break for the Wii and DS lists.
Interestingly enough, despite a rough start, three of the Wii’s top five games are WiiWare releases.
