So today was a sad New Year’s Day… I was without a stable internet connection (or any connection at all) for a majority of the day, and thus couldn’t keep up with the news. I lucked out, of course, because a holiday means very little news. It’ll be easy for me to play catch up in the morning.
In the mean time, share your experiences from last night! My countdown was rather uneventful. In fact, I missed the Times Square New Year’s Celebration (with Dick Clark, Demi Lovato, the Jonas Brothers, Taylor Swift, and more!) because I had the TV on another channel. All of a sudden, as I’m sitting at my desk, I hear the voices of David Henrie and Selena Gomez counting down to 0, and I start freaking out. I think I managed to switch over to ABC about a second after the hour. 
Didn’t miss my own New Year’s celebration an hour later, though. How about the rest of you? Perhaps you were playing Animal Crossing: City Folk and saw the above? Admit it if you were, so we can make fun of you.
