The Tanooki’s Daily Recap – December 31, 2008

081231newyears

Well, that’s it for 2008! Not a bad day for news posts, as I’m sure you can see below. I’d also like to remind you all to check out our discussion forums and take the chance to get to know some of your fellow readers and gaming enthusiasts. Also, if you haven’t already, be sure to cast your votes for the 2008 Tanooki Awards – you only have a few days left!

Our staff’s getting the rest of the night off and we hope you’ll take it easy as well as we all ring in 2009 together. It’s been a pretty big year for video games, and there will no doubt be some surprises in 2009 (which we’ll share our thoughts on sometime next week…). As for the site, we’ll be going to two years soon and we’re still going strong with several new treats for you in store. It’s gonna be a fun year.

On behalf of everyone here at The Tanooki, I’d like to wish you all a happy and safe New Year’s!
