Breaking: Video game consoles use up electricity

The National Resources Defense Council has spent plentiful resources and money to find out… that video game consoles use electricity. Even more shocking is the discovery that turning your game systems off can save electricity, and help reduce the roughly $1 billion in electricity used by game consoles.

Seriously, though, you are urged to turn off your consoles when you’re not using it. It’s the right thing to do, and Al Gore would be proud. Heck, you don’t need WiiConnect24 on all the time – you and I both know you’re going to find out about any important from the internet first, long before you see your Wii glowing blue.
