It has been confirmed that the Wii Guitar Hero: World Tour instruments are compatible with the Wii version of Rock Band 2. Heck, it’s even compatible with the Guitar Hero III controller. This is great news for fans of music games. Buying two complete sets of instruments is too expensive to be practical. Not to mention the clutter….

However, Rock Band 1 is incompatible with Guitar Hero instruments, so make sure you take that into account when planning your music game purchases. It also doesn’t look like Guitar Hero: World Tour will be playable with Rock Band 2’s instruments. So many different things to consider.
