Did you know that there’s technically no Australian version of Animal Crossing: Wild World? It’s true. Nintendo actually released the American version in Australia instead of bothering with a proper Australian version.
Did you also know that the file transfer feature in Animal Crossing: City Folk/Let’s Go to the City is region locked? That means, of course, that the Australian version of City Folk is only compatible with the non-existent Australian version of Wild World. Wow, this feature has been giving Nintendo nothing but trouble, hasn’t it?
There’s no word yet on what Nintendo intends to do about this, if anything. We’ll keep you posted.
