Zelda fan robs bank, Link is not amused

A man robbed a People’s Bank in Waterbury, Connecticut this Monday. (Apparently the kind of bank with shopping carts in it.) Nobody cares about that, of course. The real story here is that he was apparently a Legend of Zelda fan, and wore a Zelda hat while committing the crime. The exact number of rupees the man got away with has not been disclosed.

This is no way for a Zelda fan to be behaving. Link sets a good example for his fans, and would never do such a thing. (Well, maybe he did it that one time, but that bow was hella expensive, and that’s a secret to everybody anyway. He needed that bow for the noble ojective of… destroying an island.)

Oh boy. Now everyone he ever talks to is going to have to call him THIEF! instead of his former name. He should have just stuck to trespassing into strangers’ homes and breaking all of their pots. It takes more effort, but at least this alternative doesn’t result in death by a shop keeper.

    “that’s a secret to everybody”

…So I’m not the only person in the universe who knows that quote when he hears it.

I totally understand this is mostly a joke (the way this is written, that is) but how much you wanna bet some politician finds this article and triess to go on a crusade against Zelda now.
