Disney meets Final Fantasy on your North American DS

Square-Enix has confirmed plans to release its ridiculously-titled DS RPG Kingdom Hearts: 358/2 Days in North America. (How do you even say that? Kingdom Hearts: 358 Divided By 2 Days? Kingdom Hearts: 179 Days? Kingdom Hearts: 358 Half-Days?) The game will be a spinoff/prequel to Kingdom Hearts II and will follow former Organization XIII member Roxas.

There’s no release date set yet, but now you can breathe a sigh of relief and take comfort in the knowledge that it’s definitely coming out in North America, as opposed to when it was just probably coming out in North America.

    I read somewhere other than Wiki that “Kingdom Hearts: Three-Five-Eight Days over Two” is what the developers expect. I think I read it in Nintendo Power…

    The 358 days is supposed to signify the length of Roxas’ story minus the week in KH2. The time between Chain of Memories and Kingdom Hearts 2 is one year. 365 days – 7 days (in one week) = 358 days.
