428 = 40: Famitsu gives Sega’s new Wii game a perfect score
It’s happened again, Famitsu has revealed their latest game review scores, and Sega’s 428 ~Fuusa Sareta Shibuya de~ for the Wii has received four “10″s, a perfect 40/40 score. 428 likely won’t make it out of Japan, as it’s a visual novel set in Tokyo, crossing the paths of a young man, a virus researcher, detective, freelance writer, and… a cat… in a quirky game developed by Chunsoft.
For those keeping score, it’s only the ninth title in history to get a perfect 40 from Famitsu, the second Wii game, fifth on a Nintendo platform, first by Sega, and third game this year. Other “perfects” include Ocarina of Time, Soulcalibur, Vagrant Story, The Wind Waker, Nintendogs, Final Fantasy XII, Super Smash Bros. Brawl, and Metal Gear Solid 4.
