Mother 3 translation finally due this week
After two years, Earthbound-loving anglophones will finally get the chance to play the game’s GBA sequel in their mother tongue this week. The long-awaited Mother 3 translation patch is just about ready for release. The project has gotten a lot of attention since it began, even getting mentioned in Nintendo Power while it was still owned by Nintendo. (I guess that means they don’t mind.)
No English release is planned for Mother 3, so get your totally-legal-backups-of-a-game-you-legitimately-bought ready. The patch is due out by the end of the week. Stay tuned.

Getting harder and harder to find FlashAdvance carts these days, and the associated hardware to read your Japanese Mother 3 carts so you can apply the patch.
