
It looks like there is another overlooked feature inside the DSi. The newly announced Nintendo DSi will also include an increased supply of RAM for the system. Opera CEO Jon von Tezchner has stated:
Yes, the DSi has more RAM than the DS Lite. In addition, with integrated Opera coming with the DSi, it will use RAM more efficiently.
This makes sense considering the DSi will include a built in browser, and the previous browser by Opera used an RAM expansion pack that had to be inserted inside the now abandoned GBA port. Will this RAM be used for future gaming? Possibly for upcoming downloadable titles? Your guess is as good as mine.
