If you’ve taken the time to ponder the state of Nintendo’s system of digital distribution, you’ve probably come to the conclusion that Nintendo Points will be stuck on the system you register them to. If that’s what you came up with, well, you’re right. You can blame Nintendo’s lack of an account system for that, since your Wii and DSi won’t be able to connect to one another in any permanent sense.
The world isn’t going to implode over this little tidbit, but you know, it’d be nice if Nintendo would create some kind of account system. You can already link your Wii to your My Nintendo account. How hard could it be to bump that up a notch?
(Note: Probably a lot harder than an amateur like me could even fathom.)
