It’s time to dust of some of those old sealed classic games buried away in those safe deposit boxes, because the Video Game Authority (which is a sub-division of the Collectible Grading Authority) will grade your titles. While many of you out there might be thinking “why”, the purpose is to provide potential game buyers with a 3rd party rating system which can eliminate some of the annoying descriptions such as “like new” that we see on eBay.
$20 is the standard grading price for retro titles and must be factory sealed. This is just a base price, and can increase if the title itself is over $400 in value. This looks like a service for very serious game collectors, and I wonder how many of them have extra copies for actual gaming.
