I’m sure a number of you could hook up game consoles in your sleep. RCA/HDMI cable? Check. Power? Check. At the same time, I’ll bet some of you know a friend or family member who couldn’t remove a Wii from the box without breaking something.
That’s when you buy your friend one of these, the “For Dummies” books. The Wii book, by Kyle Orland, covers topics like “setting up the Wii, using the system’s myriad controllers, getting the most out of Channels, and recommendations for games and accessories.” You may even want to look through it yourself, as I’m told even the most seasoned Wii owners might learn a thing about Wii trivia, history, or secrets.
The book will be out in September, but you can pre-order it now at either Amazon.com or Barnes & Noble. Before you’ll know it, you may unleash some new hardcore gamers in your own family.
