It looks like the days of having an inferior Wii version of Guitar Hero or Rock Band may finally be a thing of the past. Downloadable content for GH:WThas been known for sometime, but now the word is that Mii’s will be making an appearance on stage in an all new freestyle mode.

The mode allows for beginners and veterans alike to jam out together with out the pressure of failing. If you want, you can even pick up a Wiimote and nunchuck for some air guitar and drums. Sound a little like Wii Music to anyone else?
