Mega Man 9 is retro enough to include bugs… intentionally
Capcom is going all out for their throwback title Mega Man 9. Hironobu Takeshita, despite having quite the unfortunate spelling of last name in English, revealed in a talk with Gamasutra that the game is going beyond the call of duty and including several “features” from the NES era, such as bugs and sprite flicker. In a nice touch, Capcom has made some of these inclusions, like flicker, optional.
Something tells me that the developers making the 8-bit throwback might have some extra time on their hands. I just hope this level of commitment is present in every aspect of the game.

Awesome, now when I lose, I can blame it on the glitches…
