The Wii’s newest channel in Japan, the Digital Camera Print Channel, is loaded with photo services that could one day rival the local Kinko’s. Ok, maybe not, but it’s still a nice collection of services to have. According to Nintendo, the service will expand to North America and Europe – I assume Australia is included in the “Europe” bit – very soon.
Also, in addition to the costs mentioned earlier, it looks like there is a ¥200 shipping cost, or ¥500 shipping for express service for FujiFilm prints through the channel. Not bad considering the amount of gas it would take me to get to the nearest Kinko’s and back.
