Here we go. This is about as official as it gets. We now have the official press release for Sonic and the Black Knight, courtesy of SEGA’s website. The full release is after the break, but it looks like the game – due out next spring – will use the Wii Remote and Nunchuk configuration rather than the horizontal Wii Remote a la Sonic and the Secret Rings. In addition, the game will switch between 2D and 3D perspectives, probably in response to Sonic Unleashed‘s direction with game perspective.
Keeping optimistic, that makes three “good” Sonic games I’ll have to get within the next nine months. I’ll have to start eating at Subway again to fatten up my wallet.
