your wrong about 2 things guppy
1~ they reported that the game is going to make use of both screens, so dont judge it based on that trailer. theyve shown scans from a magazine of what looks like the hp and mp bars next to each character, implying that theyve somewhat changed the battle system (at least graphically)
2~ they got yasunori mitsuda on board to redo the music of the game now that the quality can be much better. he mentioned in an interview that hes not changing the songs dramatically just remaking them so that they are of better quality.

and sure, id love to pay only 8 bucks for the game, but to be honest i havent really bought a new game for quite awhile and i really dont even care if its 40.. its freakin chrono trigger!! at least theyre doing a few things to it and i can play it on the go and not have to buy a new console or anything like that :)

So... instead of letting us pay $8 for it on the Virtual Console for the SNES original, they want to sell me something that looks and sounds exactly like the SNES title for $40. Doesn't look like it's going to use the dual screens more than Final Fantasy III did, no 3D graphical overhaul, no improvements to the sound, no signs of an expanded storyline... in short, nothing they couldn't have done with a GBA cartridge.

If S-E is going to keep turning its nose up at the Virtual Console and charging four to five times more than they should for the very same game I already own twice... I'm really not interested.
