Chrono Trigger trailer emerges from Japan
Sure there isn’t much gameplay, and yeah nothing really blows me away in the trailer, but it is still a Chrono Trigger trailer. That is enough for me I think. It’s nice to have a quick run down of characters too; nothing like good a trip down memory lane.
My one concern is the art style and music that Squeenix was bragging about in their press release. I wasn’t thoroughly impressed by what was in the trailer, not that it carries too much weight, but I would at least like the music to be epic.

Interesting… It looks more like a port with slightly upgraded graphics and music. THIS, am am totally fine with, though.
Unless they took SNES Chrono Trigger screens or something. Honestly I didn’t detect much difference other than the music.
at Pete: well, that particular piece isn’t incredible on it’s own, but add it to the countless other arrangements you’ll be hearing and whistling/humming to come december, and you’ll understand.
I’m really hoping they at least revisit the music and update it. They were really limited in those days with the MIDI technology and the SNES’ built in sound processor.
