Looks like not even the second week of Metal Gear Solid 4 is enough to keep the Wii down in Japan. Nintendo’s closest rival in home platforms had the spotlight last week, but the Wii managed to pull ahead again last week. In software sales, Super Mario Stadium Family Baseball opened at #3, pulling in sales numbers of about 58,000 copies.
- PSP: 59,351 (-5,324)
- Wii: 41,037 (-4,527)
- DSL: 36,599 (-2,602)
- PS3: 20,336 (-54,975)
- PS2: 6,346 (-951)
- X360: 2,555 (+392)
Full software sales rankings can be found after the break.
