An entire 90-minute interview with Shigeru Miyamoto has popped up online. It looks as though it’s the whole interview that we’ve seen bits and pieces of in the past…or maybe it’s just a lot of the same questions. You can head on over if you want to hear Shiggy’s thoughts on Wii Fit, WiiWare, Donkey Kong, the Wii Remote, graphics improvement, and more. Here’s just a little preview:
Clive Thompson: A friend of mine is the editor of Sterling Publishing, which is one of the largest children’s book publishers here, and she’s terrified by the success of Professor Layton and Hotel Dusk, because she thinks this is the future of books and she’s not sure how the industry will adapt to it.
Shigeru Miyamoto: Yeah, as I was saying with the interface of the home console where you have the monitor, the computer processor, and then the connection to the player, I think that there is certainly possibility for a lot of different mediums that people have experienced in the past to be reawakened or given new life by being brought over to a home console and giving an interactive flavor to it.
There’s also a little blurb on Wii Music, so head on over and check it out.
