Zack won’t be back anytime soon
Zack & Wiki: Quest for Barbaros’ Treasure doesn’t look like it will be getting a follow-up title in the foreseeable future. Capcom’s Christian Svensson had the following to say on the company’s web forums:
Let me preface this answer with a statement to set expectations that we’ve not announced another Z&W and I’m not so sure there will be one on any reasonable timeline.
The original game has sold over 300,000 copies worldwide, but it’s still considered a niche game at the moment. Would I like to see a Zack & Wiki 2? Obviously, I had a few issues with the first one, but most of those were details that could easily be fixed in a sequel. How about the rest of you?
