Looks like Tecmo isn’t being sued by 300 of its employees. Tecmo has issued a statement to English-speaking media regarding the recent events, clarifying some false information. At the moment, only the two who filed the suit are involved, and no other individuals are known to be named in the lawsuit. Also, Tecmo says they have not withheld any information from the public according to legal requirements, contrary to 1UP’s report. Finally, the dozens said to be leaving in that same report are not going anywhere.
For all we know, the next Ninja Gaiden and Dead or Alive games could very well be made by much of the same teams that handled the recent games. The only notable absence would be the man behind both franchises, Tomonobu Itagaki.
