New Sonic Unleashed trailer shines of hope for Sonic
Most of us can agree that Sonic and the Secret Rings was a step in the right direction, but it left us wanting more. Luckily for Sonic fans everywhere, Sonic Unleashed is actually looking like it could make Sonic work in 3D. I don’t want to jinx anything, obviously, but I think it’s okay that we start getting excited!
The new trailer, posted after the break, shows off the game’s speed through both the classic perspective as well as the Secret Rings perspective. What do you think of it so far?

Oh man it looks like prerendered cutscenes not gameplay. o_o
OF course the Wii version’ll probably be a bit… Lesser quality. even do I can imagine it looking quite purdy nonetheless.
No worries, it’s not pre-rendered. :)
The Wii version will look better than this video, but not as crystal clear as the other versions. Remember that just because the Wii can’t push 2 million+ pixels for your HD set, it doesn’t mean the Wii can’t push tons of polygons and quality textures.
While obviously the Wii version ewill never look as good as the 360/PS3 versions, the picture quality on this looks fantastic!
I am very impressed, I just hope the actual game play is equally as good. The last few appearances of Sonic have been lackluster (at best).
Isn’t this the game where Sonic turns into a werewolf like so?
