Bandai Namco and the development team behind the famous Ace Combat series are bringing a flight sim game to the Wii. Sky Crawlers: Innocent Aces is inspired by Mamoru Oshii’s upcoming movie, The Sky Crawlers, in Japanese theaters this August. That movie is in turn based off a series of five novels about dogfighter combat pilots. The game from Bandai Namco will feature an original story, which is usually a good thing.
As you’d expect, your Wii Remote is used as the throttle while the Nunchuk serves as the control stick. The game comes out in Japan in the fall, and I would assume the rest of the world would see it a few month after. Sound interesting to any of you?
