Nintendo’s official schedule in North America doesn’t list any first party game releases after Wii Fit. Obviously, we’ll need a few titles to bring us into the holiday season, and we already know about games like Kid Icarus and Wii Music. That no where near enough, but don’t worry, we’re in good hands according to Nintendo’s director of PR, Marc Franklin:
We recently announced the upcoming release of Mario Super Sluggers. Additionally, we will be announcing several new titles that core gamers will be interested in around the time of E3.
What’s better is that some of Marc’s comments suggest that while everything up until this point has been part of an effort to expand the market and appeal to the “non-gamers,” core gamers don’t have to wait any longer. It seems like this is your year. What do you want? Pikmin? Zelda?
