A look at the Pokemon Platinum box… in white?
White isn’t exactly the color you think of when thinking about Giratina, a ghost Pokemon from an inverted dimension and ancient cemetery. Nevertheless, that’s the color of Pokemon Platinum’s box art… in Japan, anyway. I guess white sort of is the inverse of the black backgrounds used on the boxes of Pokemon Diamond and Pokemon Pearl, so it makes sense in a way.
This low res, blurry image is actually from the collection of scans posted earlier today (re-posted after the break), but it was just pointed out to me. Looks much cooler than our April Fool’s joke, huh?
